Intro to Improv! (dates TBD) Learn the basics of improvisation - scenes and stories made up on the spot. This challenging and fun art form offers lessons for actors and other performers, as well as public speakers, creative thinkers, and really anyone who wants to boost their creativity, confidence, ability to work with others, and ability to find and use their own voice!
The Business of Acting (open to participants ages 16+, requires interview before enrollment, up to 9 participants): (dates TBD) This is a great course for any actors interested in learning more about the business of acting/starting a professional career. We'll review how agents/managers work, how breakdowns/submissions work, an actor's toolbox, how to find training/classes as a professional, audition technique, acting markets, personal marketing, confidence/myths, communities, finances, how the industry is changing, and more. By the end of the course all participants will have created their own acting website and know a lot of things I learned the hard way.
